Currently Opera web browser has 200 million users over the globe including a massive amount of Opera mobile users. It also has close relationship with major mobile handset makers. Facebook can expand Opera audience, and Opera can embed Facebook into its user’s life.
Facebook might be looking to enter the browser market, in order to make sure that no matter what you are doing on the browser, you are always connected to your Facebook social graph. Finally the expectation is Facebook Browser.

Why can’t facebook just create their own seperate browser and leave Opera alone. For once can facebook stop buying every dam company and
